Middle school students in Prince William County are offered the options of remaining at their base school, transferring to a specialty program in World Languages, Mathematics and Science, or enrolling in the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme or a Traditional School


Paper applications for Pennington and Porter Schools must be postmarked or delivered in-person no later than 4 p.m. on February 1, 2019.

Students who live in Prince William County must apply by February 1 of the year before entering the program. This due date also applies to students who live in Prince William County but have not attended Prince William County Public Schools. This includes students attending private schools and home-schooled students. Students who move into Prince William County may apply to the program within 30 days of registering to attend Prince William County Schools.
